Agnus Dei and Dona Nobis
From Perry's "Missa Brevis", this movement opens with an alto solo, the melodic line is picked up as a soprano solo, then taken over by the soprano and alto sections of the choir. The tenors begin the transition into the Dona Nobis with a distant, chant-like section which is echoed by all parts. The Dona Nobis builds to a strong statement before coming to a quiet, peaceful close. SATB voices and SA solo voices with keyboard and optional 2 harps and strings.
